View Full Version : text on a path
InfraredAD 08-06-2003, 05:14 PM So I'm hoping that I'll figure this out soon, and this may be a dumb fargin' question, but how do you make text follow a path, i.e. a circular one? I figure it's gotta be something to do with using splines, but I haven't found it in the program yet.
Using Cinema 4D XL R8 on OS X and thanks ahead of time for any help on a very easy but elusive problem.

easiest way is simply to do it in illustrator, but if you must go your own way then you can use a plugin like multiple spline attach (MSA) or even the spline deformer in cinema to do this. or you could go the route of having each letter a seperate text path and using atatch to spline tags then just offsetting them along your path spline manually (or even using a little expresso to make the other follow a leader letter). there's a heap of ways of doing this, have fun :)
