Hi,

I have just uploaded a gallery with images of models I created over the last few days (except the GBASP, which is much older) after work:

http://www.graphicaluserinterface.net/~v3rtex/Gallery/index.htm

I am very interested in doing hands-on training (without any payment). I currently live in Germany near Duesseldorf.

If you can offer such a position and are interested in a highly motivated, extremely focused, dedicated and productive CG modeler who wants to gain work experience (and who could be a valuable free :) addition to your team), please let me know via e-mail (I will be on vacation until 09/05/03
):

Also, if you are working on a project (animated short, advertisment, commercial, etc. ...) and would like to have certain CG (background?) models that would be nice to have but cannot be created because of a limited timeframe, I'd be happy :) to create them for you (for free) if you mention my name in the credits.

I use Rhino 3D (www.rhino3d.com) to create and render my models. If you require polygon geometry I can easily tesselate and convert any model to a variety of different file formats.

I also have experience with 3D Studio Max 5, Maya 5, Lightwave 7.5, XSI 3 and Cinema 4D 8. I'm totally sef-taught, am extremely flexible and can easily adapt to any new situation/environment/software package.

Happy CG'ing everyone! :)

Yes, Rhino 3D is fantastic.

Has anyone tried any 3rd party renderers for Rhino or does exporting to other 3d packages still yield the best results?

Not to be a nag or anything but the trucks on the skateboard don't look like "real" skateboard trucks...:)

Everything else looks great....now if i were you i would start textureing them objects...:)

i agree about the skateboard trucks.... granted, its been over 5 years since i quit skating, i still remember clearly that trucks don't look like that.

Yes, the trucks are terrible :-) I didn't pay much attention to them. Any suggestions which package I should use to shade and render my models?
