Here's another piece I just started. This time I started with a rough sketch and brought it into Photoshop. I planned on doing a more colorful piece at first but as my rough painting moved on I found that I kinda liked the loose and dark idea as a sort of stylization. Let me know what you think. Is it impossible to make it work well this way? Should I make it alot more detailed and colorful? When I start painting I typically block in the basic color shapes, throw some gradients in and texture it up with brushes, filters, photos, anything that can rough it up.
