Piv0t 08-06-2003, 02:42 PM Hi all,
I've been working on this one for a while now and nevertheless I'm planning to add some more details and a few objects to the scene, I consider it to be generally finished. So I'd appreciate your C&C's :wavey:

thats really sweet man.
I think the grain over the top is a bit much, its sorta killing it a bit, detail is getting lost. But besides that spot on! Attention to detail is well good. :D

Thx for your replies. Yes, I've painted all the textures myself, using some photos of rust and a few self-assembled PS brushes.
P.S. I'd love to hear some ideas about what objects to add to the scene

thats very nice. If you are after some ideas for the scene setting maybe you could put it in an old tin garage. Or maybe at an old abandoned petrol station (gas station i guess if you are from US). Thay are just some ideas i get when looking at the truck. Hope i helped.

Have a  but the right head light is kind of strange with that slit if that sand building up then the other one should have sand build up otherwise I don't know what it is but it has to be man made to be that perfect shape.

Piv0t, that is a fantastic model! The textures are a bit over the top though, but nice nonetheless.
I notice it's a wartime Mercedes truck. Is it the L3000S?? I've been looking for good drawings of this truck for decades!! Did you make this model from blueprints? If so, would you like to share your drawings? :D I'd be very grateful!!
My e-mail is skyraider3d@wanadoo.nl
TIA!!! :)
