Hey,

I'm going to school for CG, and I'm going to major in compositing. I'd like to get into documentaries or advertising when I get out of school. Mainly stuff for broadcasting.

Is there anything in particular that I could work on for my reel that might help me get into either these industries? Any types of shots/scenes that would show off my compositing skills?

A few houses that I've visited in the NYC area have done some. Most of it is pretty basic, like comping some effects and color grading.
