mental ray crashes alway when rendering nurbs surfaces
even with different suf-approximations out of mental ray

does any body have an idea how to render nurbs in mr without
getting totaly insane ?

I have being experienced the same problem when a scene contains a lot of nurbs surfaces.Im sorry i cant help you but im very intrested in an answer as well.
