Hi!

I'm new to mental ray's mia_material and I don't seem to get transparency maps to work with it. I'm working with XSI 7.01 (Mental ray 3.6)

I modeled out an after shave bottle, which is almost completely transparent glass, but it has a little (painted) decal on one side of the bottle and I'm getting gray hairs here trying to get that on :)

So what's the correct way of plugging in a transparency map for mia material? I've tried to plug it into the transparency port on the shader, which generates a scalarImage node, but after that my glass bottle goes black. I also tried to check the "copy to alpha" option in the scalarimage node, which does affect the shader ball a little, but the rendered image stays black. What am I missing here?

Thanks!
