Hello~ :)

At first,As I am not a man who use English as First language,
you feel my terrible grammar and voca and I am not accustomed to use polite english in useing words.. so...I am so sorry.

There are so many Question because I'm studying for rederring nowadays.

Plz, help this beginner

In order to study, I made a simple mechanic who is a son of wall-e and eva~. (sorry ..pixarrrr)

This is it.

- mental ray in max 2010 -

First question ,maintaining other status of reflection and other things reflrecting on a face of head, how to remove or reduce a density ( ?? or brightness ?? ) of lighting effect.

Second question, how to make eyes of this "Glow" without useing of "camera effect".

If I use camera effect and Glow shader in max material, other things which must not be effected by lighting are effected.

Therefore, can I make the eyes "Glow"?
If I have to use camera effect "Glow" , how to make a certain object I want be effected?

The head of this mechanic use arch &design shader.

Third question, how to make this shader??
Of course , I dont need to know the whole process of this effect.
I just want to know simple process briefly.

Do you speak spanish by any chance?

The questions you are asking have a somewhat complex answer:

1.-For the glowing eyes effect you need to use a arch and design material with self ilumination, as the glow shader works on the brightest spots of the image, so you need to make sure that the eyes are the brightest thing on the image by far.

2.- Can you reduce the hotspot size of the spotlight/direct light? that may reduce the size of the bright spot on the sphere.

3.- Check if you can make the lightsource invisible to reflections.

5.- You could reduce the reflectivity value to reduce the highlight size, but it will reflect less, you will need a different shader if you want to reduce the highlight size and keep the reflections.
