View Full Version : exclude single object in a cloner from light
i´ve got an object cloned with mograph and effected by a random-effector.
now i´d like to exclude some of my clones from a light. possible?
i tried with "mograph data" node, and also with an mograph selection tag, didnt work.
when using a light in a node, the data type of the "objects"-port of exclude/include-mode
is "inclusion/exclusion", how can i feed it?
thanks in advance.

You don't have access to the single clones as objects in a way that you could add them to the include/exclude list.
Currently i have no idea ho to implement what you need.

you can try this, make a mograph selection of clones you want to be unaffected by light, and assign shader effector on them which has scale transform set to 0, so it basicly hides them.
Make a copy of a whole cloner and shader effector, and just invert the mograph selection on the copy, so you hide the objects that should be affected by light.
Now use the whole cloner in In-Exlude field.
but what if you have 1500 cloner objects?
