Well today I went to buy The new drawing on the right side of the brain, it was not in town but the workbook was. So I bought the workbook...

Do you think I need to bother picking up the actual book?

Well here are the first 3 excersizes:

The Self portrate

My Hand

Corner of the room

Also I have been doing a little more from the Structure of Man DVD, copying what I have done with pen and paper onto the computer with the bamboo pad so not posting that as I ahve not finished the A4 page yet, will post that tomorrow and try and get some more of the exersizes done....

Till then any advice, especially on the portart, would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome!

Good to see that many sketches.
Best advise I can give you is to draw every day. Don't go to bed without having drawn, even if it's just for 15 minutes. Draw draw draw, and carefully observe what you draw. Look more at your subject than at your paper/canvas.

I see your sketches are digital.
Go to the art store (or the supermarket if you don't have an art store in the neighbourhood) and buy at least 2 sketchbooks and a 2B pencil. Draw everywhere :D

Above all, enjoy it ;)
