I am using UV layout to setup UVs for meshes back in maya when I transfer the attributes in maya from the new uv layout onto the old mesh, the mesh turns Red. I applied new shaders with new textures and they "Seem to fine." They render ok. I checked drawing overide attributes and nothing there explaons why the geo turns red. I deleted histories and saved. I hope this is ok. Anyone know why this hppens and/or how to defeat avoid it?
