ARTillery, fix your link to remove the second "http://". Otherwise the link you provide turns up an error.

I've read that you could also use a chrome sphere and a camera pointed towards it with a different FOV.

Just change the projection matrix of the camera through MaxScript, and add a radial distortion model.

Signal to noise:thanx for alerting me to that..but I guess that the plugin turn to be a bad choise since it dosent actually take the shot distorted ..but it adds the distortion afterword..so it makes a real distortion since the pixils get stretched..I fixed the link though..

Tbonez816:well..that's a nice technique..i'll sure give it a try..

3.14rate:thanx for the confidence in me..but I know nothing about MAXScript:applause:

360RenderWorld might do what you want, and it's free.

Since that plug-in didn't work, have you tried searching on Script Spot (http://www.scriptspot.com) ?

Of course this won't help you, but I thought I'd mention it.

Final Render stage 1 has advanced camera lense FX such as true fisheye.
