Hi there!

Iīve just finished my latest rig, called Liam, and I would love some feedback and testing of it http://www.11secondclub.com/forum/img/smilies/smile.png

Itīs not a "windows-beta" with 45094594 bugs in it, so its animator-ready with animation GUI, face controlls(osipa-style) and lots of squasch & stretch, bending and such.

There are some new things Iīm testing out now that I havenīt tried animating with before so would be cool to hear what you say about them!

Here is the link and the documentation Iīve written
http://www.ottoleffler.com/liam

Make sure to check out the docs and demo before you start, will clear out some questions Iīm sure http://www.11secondclub.com/forum/img/smilies/smile.png

Kind regards,
Otto Leffler

Otto,

Your rig looks very impressive, and especially the added bonus of a documentation really excites me. I've read through your license agreement in the docs, and it seems my question might be redundant, but still:

Are you OK with me potentially using this rig for one of our animation units? I had already planned to go with an already existing asset, but since your timing is so spot on (we start this exercise next week) I would love to make the switch. Students will obviously give credit due if they choose to publish their work, but it might be hard to enforce them to email you links etc.

Let me know what you think! I hope to get some spare time for testing over the weekend, regardless of whether to use this or not, and will let you know if I come across any issues.

Cheers,
Daniel

Thatīs fine, use it how ever you want :)

They donīt have to email me links to what the do, not at all! They can put in on Youtube,Vimeo or there own websites without any "permissions" from me at all.

Otto,

That's great! I figured that the license for this rig was quite flexible, but still though that you might want some feedback on when and what your baby is being used for.

I might post back here if anything worthwhile has been created with Liam, and thanks again for your efforts.

Cheers,
Daniel

Np Daniel

Some changes will be made to the spine, I have some new ideas there to fix the problems with the hip-controll so stay tune for an updated version
