Hi guys, I´m working on a personal project and I want to have some ents walking on a river, with realistic water interaction, mostly done in Real Flow and LW. I have my Tree walk cycle animation done in LW and the river is modeled either.
I don´t want to throw water into the trees, using object emmiters in RF, I want to have the river moving in one direction and the Tree steps should make water splashes...
I want the river to fit on my scene, so I need a custom object.
Can this be done with real wave or I need to export my custom river to RF and use it there?

I´ll be posting my results as far as I move forward.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I have made a river with RF. It wasn't easy but it was "fun". If you keep it shallow and work with the right resolution you can get a lot of volume. Then just make separate emitters splashes where you need them.

In the end just fake it as much as you can.

Thanks for the reply.
Can I see your river animation?! I uploaded a compilation of what I got so far on this project, only 'missing' the ent / river interactions. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4q6X_tIn_NM

I'll try to find some footage of it.

Your project looks pretty nice.
