View Full Version : UVW Unwrap Nightmare (part II)

Sorry for posting and asking again something about UVW Unwrap but I guess this tool doesn't like me...

The "new" (and I hope the last) problem is that I make the necessary changes (moving vertices) in the editor and when I'm done it looks fine but if I save and close the .max file and open it again, the texture from my character looks just like before the changes I made!

I'm fighting this problem all the day without success... Any ideas of what it might be?

What software are you using? I think it might be best to post in an application specific subforum, since this is not a problem with Unwrapping or Texturing techiques, but rather a problem with the UV Editor in your software.

Ops, forgot to mention, it's 3ds Max 2009!

Ok.

Can you describe what exactly you are doing? For example are you changing stuff below the UVW Unwrap Modifier in the Stack? Changing Map Channels? Have you accidentaly set your Max-file to read only?

I never lost UV information (without reason ;)), but then again I am still on 2008...
