Hello,

for some reason my texture image doesn't appear on the edit mode from UVW Unwrap (Parameters -> Edit...). Actually I can choose the image from the roll out menu on the right upper side of the uvw unwrap edit tool but still the image doesn't appear...

Accidentally I've found out that the texture is there because if I place my object in a certain position it the texture is showed on the viewport. See pictures:

Any idea of what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

It should be as simple as selecting some UVs in the editor. Essentially, rt click, UV, then do a quick marquee select of a few of them and your image should pop in.

You mean rt click where? In the editor? Sorry I actually did not quite understand what you wrote...

Three things to try:

First: Open the Options Pannel (the little button in the lower right corner) and look if the Tiles value in the Bitmap Options is not 0.

Second: Look in the Coordinates of your Bitmap Map if there aren't any wonky values (Offset should be 0 in both directions, Tiling 1; if it is saying Size instead of Tiling, see below). Also see if the coordinates are set to UV and not VW or WU

Third: If you're using Real World Scale, turn it off.

Rt click over your UV layout, or somewhere in the UV editor and select UV... that should get it started, assuming that all else is good :-)

Hello,

now I can see the image on the editor. There was really a problem with the Real World Scale, after I turned it off in the material editor and in the uvw mapping the texture appeared on the edit from the unwrap. Besides of that I had to turn off the use custom bitmap size from the editor too. I wonder why...I guess it's because the texture is not in high res.

Anyways thanks for the help guys! You guys are awesome!
