View Full Version : How to apply Normal Map with SSS ( MR )

Character has multiplier map so a composite shader is use.

Shader Used
SSS FastSkin + Displacement -> Bump -> Composite -> Bitmaps
Normal Maps - Seam Showing but Skin Bump Sharp

SSS FastSkin + Displacement -> Bump -> Normal Bump (Tangent) -> Composite -> Bitmaps
Normal Maps - Almost SeamLess but Skin bump not Sharp

How can I have seamless and sharper bump ? What did I do wrong?

Hard to say without seeing the actual shader network and knowing what software.

I think the problem is the normal map`s Export preferences
