Hi;

This may seems a repeated question, but seriously, is there a way I can transfer a max file object with it's material and texture + texture maping into an XSI file? am I missing something in the proccess? or there is a special plugin that I can buy?

I have heard of success with the .fbx format... go to Kaydara (http://kb.kaydara.com/display/1/index.asp?aid=&r=0.7529871) and download the plugin for each... Let me know if it works out for you.

I might be mistaken, but wasn't there a dotXSI exporter for MAX also ? You should check at SI's site...

You can also look at deep exploration, but it's not free..

Are you sure this plugin export the texture and the texture projection? what about the materials? I don't want cameras not light, I just want my Max Objects to be converted to XSI fully, is this possible by this plugin?

Yes, it exports the textures. I doubt that it will do procedural textures though.
