---only advice I can give those who are flirting with it:
wait till the demo is out.
I have fallen for the Siggraph- special last year for Messiah 3,
and Wasnt able to use the program with Cinema till today because of the nort -really-functioning connection that has never been updated since then.
Also-
they had Softbody with colission in last years 3 , too.
only that it didnt work with bone-deformed meshes---
The feature list sure looks nice, they have a couple of very inetresting features (Armature, a sort of visual selector on steroids) and if it all works as promised I might update my M:A3.
But if you dont work with Lightwave: dont buy on nice words.
Wait for the WORKING connection.
Just my 2 cents.

oh, one more thing:
The C4d connection does not work with R8, thats true(, but it did not work properly with R7 either.
It was unable to deform the cage in an hypernurb-object (in animation) .
So the connection is pretty much useless until now...

I'd only second what Olli has said--don't buy it until you can try it. PMG is capable of great things, but they don't always deliver what they promise.
sounds like good advice all. i tried the demo 3.3 and was dumb-founded. although that is not very difficult to do. hopefully 4.0 lives up to its claims.

I said this in a different thread, but I know a few people that have been testing the beta release of studio and animate and have been told that it is damn good. Lets see what its like when it comes out.
everyone seems to acknowledge that its a good program its just the portablity of it.
