I made this model as homework after 2 classes at mayacourse

I'm quite happy with the end result...i can't texture it cause i don't know how yet :)

offcourse we had to make our own version and not the original x-wing :buttrock:
whyway i hope you guys like it...

made with - Maya 4.0
time - 2 days
method - polygon modeling
plugins used - none

wow, is that your first time usign 3d or did u just switch to maya from another program, and only 2 classes u learned how to do that ! that is amazing.

kevinmacdonald : Thanks, i modeled before in max and LW but not at this level!

Now i hope my teacher likes it :D

ps. After i learn how to texture im gonna texture it....DUH!!

and then i'll show it aginain, tonight i will post some other ss angels.

Very good indeed! And I like your design too.
I also switched from LW to MAYA but I have to say that you did much better than me. Now I am looking forward to your textured model.
PS: Maybe some fillets on the edges will make your aircraft looks better.
