View Full Version : Rigging problem with Connection Editor

I'm setting up a Spine rig on my character following a tutorial. I'm using IK Spline, everything was working fine until I had to use the connection editor to link my ChestControls 'rotate Y' from the Output window on the left to the Spine IK Handles 'Twist' parameter from input window on the right. Maya will not let me highlight 'Twist'. Has anyone else got this problem? Am I missing something? I'm following the video tutorial exactly and in it the 'Twist' highlights easily. I hate when stuff like this happens. :banghead:

Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I figured it out. All you have to do is go to 'Options' in the Connection Editor and select 'Auto-Connect'. Once there is a check mark beside it you should be able to select 'Twist' on the right side. Phew!
