View Full Version : How does IKRP decide which direction to point

Hey everyone,

Just curious if anyone know how maya calculated how an IKRP decents which direction the Rotational Plane will point on a two joint chain. Right now I have an IK that points forward, I mirror the joint chain re-create the IKRP solver and the RP is pointing to the side.

Does anyone have an idea how maya decides where to point?
