Hi,
This is probably a no brainer but here I am. I'm trying to generate a texture atlas for the textures of an object in Maya, the object then to be transferred to an open GL gaming engine. I'm using this in windows xp.
I downloaded Nvidia's texture atlas tool and the command came up with the script (or the 'atlas tool script' looks like the command prompt---). When I type in the 'texture atlas' command the prompt simply spits out "not recognized command"
example:
With the prompt I get
C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Texture Atlas Tools\DEMOS\Direct3D9\bin\release> TextureAltasTool.exe
'TextureAltasTool.exe' is the prompting command according to the directions after that the attributes are specified etc.
I get:
'TextureAtlasTool.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Ack! Probably missing something.
Anyone have experience with this? Are there other ways to create texture atlases using photoshop and maya? thanks for any assistance.
