I was working on a series, (and still am, although other, paying projects have cut into their time) of characters from a story I wrote a long time ago. Thinking of bring it back, thought I'd do some character designs first. Just playing around. Each of these took about 6 hours, and each character was once an animal, before being granted a human form. I'll list under them what they were. It is a silly idea, but fun, none the less. There are two characters left to do. I'll have them up after I catch up on my real work.

The Dog

Of course, these pictures portray them some time after they have learned to cope with the massive change in their lives. Bleh, anyway. Tell me what you think =] Thanks for the time.

Cool!
Perhaps a little more contrast in the color on your drawings would help them get closer to escaping the (hand drawn) look...
All are cool drawings though!
I like the ball of yarn ... good stuff!

Nice work! Being an amateur historian I just have to nit-pick: If you are going to portray a crossbow (an English longbow being a FAR superior weapon) then you shouldn't have him with arrows like that. A crossbow does not shoot an arrow like a regular bow, it shoots a bolt. It is much shorter, thicker, and has no feathers on the end - the fletching is made with leather cut to shape.

Here's a diagram I found, sorry it's not great...

Great Work!!

Hey thanks! Tried very hard to make them look like the animal, but nor be sterotyped either.
