Wow :applause: I love the caracter ,but the background just doesn't seem correct to me :shrug:
Its too bright if it is night (moon) and the stars are too purple i think :rolleyes:

V Warcraft-ian, and that's a compliment. Love the detail and style....just find his head somewhat small, but perhaps it's the glow. A bit hard to distinguish the features.

Thank you all, but there are two persistant problems with sending
blizzard anything at all. They are currently not hiring 2d artists.
And if I ever get approved I wont be able to travel, mainly because I`m 18,
and my parents won`t let me :annoyed:

Well I mostly meant that you should just send it to them just to show them how much you dig their characters...
I know whenever somebody does something based off of some of my past work it's a major thrill and compliment!
The guys at Blizzard would be proud of that...And maybe they've been looking for a reason to start a Fan Art Area on their sight???

Airbrushed? As in traditional airbrush? No if that`s what you mean. It`s only photoshop, with pencil as a base.

Good stuff, I like the fact that you didn't cheat on any of the elements, looks like you spent time on all of the pic. However the compliment I gave the aritst in the Dark Warlord thread has to be countered here since I think the lighting is really forced for a nighttime scene. The lighting feels artificial and too bright - the lack of contrast and shadows makes it hard to take any sense of mood from it. There's a section where his cloak is casting a shadow on itself but then the fold right in front of it is just as brightly lit. Also regarding the background the grassy hill not only has no shadows facing us, which would frame the character well, but imo has too many similarities in rendering style to the sky.

overall though i think you've obviously got a lot of talent, some great color choices, I'd just work on decisions making portion of it. The grass in the foreground is outstanding.

perfect.You are right from one side but the boy is 18 years old.
