I released these at the beginning of the month to maybe earn a little extra cash or just to support my web endeavors etc. Well I found out that a Russian based website somehow got a hold of the brushes and is giving them away for free - if that isn't bad enough the Russian site that is hosting them contains malware. So to keep people from having my name associated with malware or "fringe" elements I am giving the entire set away for free.

I have other items on that site and Deviant Art as well - some free and others are very low price for what you receive. In any case I hope that you as artists get some use out of the Fire Brushes and I really hope that no one goes to that other site to download the brushes - My firewall counted at least 6 trojans/malware attempts on my machine. I will not list the site here because I do not want to give them more traffic nor do I want any harm to come to anyone's computer because of it.
There are instructions and examples of the brushes on the blog - so feel free to use in personal and commercial projects and let me know what you create with them (although it isn't a requirement to link back). The only thing that I request is that you do not distribute the brushes - just provide the link that I have given to give out to people.
Here's to the internet and the vastness of IP infringers out there and the impossibility of any Artist having control over their content on the internet!
