okay for some reason i have problems smoothing an object when its parented to another object.
even when i select the node in the hypergraph and hit smooth it won't smooth! but it will smooth the child node but won't smooth the parent node.
i haven't had any problems like this in maya 4.5, but it comes up in maya 5.0.
does anyone know what the problem is?
