good choices too, that superman and flash scene are my favorites scenes of any cartoon ever.

My concern is adding complicated characters to the mix. I want to improve my fx skills, not worry about character rigging/animation. Granted, you can always find a way around it, but then it frequently looks obvious that you left out the characters. Just something to please keep in mind.

I agree, let's keep the character rigging and animation to a minimum and focus on the FX

I agree. I haven't dropped by in ages and would love to participate again, but my views are we just need raw simple effects. I know that we get a few solo 'effects' (wave, tornado, fireworks) but i feel with the rate at witch people loose interest in projects simpler things would work better.

Bring on things like geysers, underwater explosions, acid spill ect.

I know its a really hard choice, and so many people tell you what they like, what they don't, and why. But its just my 2 cents thats all.
