Robbyh 08-15-2009, 08:37 PM Im sorry to be so new to compositing, but im wondering, how do you get a image sequence of a movie ? i mean do you chose to film as a image sequence ( doesnt make sence raely that way ) or do you convert a movie u have filmed into a movie sequence ? and any good ideas on what kind of converter i need if so ? // Thx realy, ive done some google searches but only thing im able to find alot is img sequence - to - movie..
how do people mainly get that image sequence / the movie sequence.. ? :/

You usually convert the video/film sequence to frames either digitally (eg, through something like Quicktime Pro) or by scanning them.

You can do "video capture" or "film capture" of a movie to produce strips that you can then work with in a video editing program ... Final Cut, iDVD, etc. etc. Plenty of tools out there.
