"Here's some links to two videos about messiah:animate4/messiah:studio1.5's
new Armatures feature. The first video gives a glimpse of what they are,
and the second one gives a glimpse at setting them up. Keep in mind that
these barely scratch the surface of what Armatures are capable of-- it would
be like explaining Expressions by showing how you can rotate one object by
moving another object up and down, obviously Expressions are much more
powerful than that, and Armatures are more powerful than what's shown here.

IMPORTANT: Download the videos and watch them locally, don't attempt to
stream them. And the "quality rating" I give for each one below is for
image and sound, not file size.

Damn - that's cool. Much easier to set up than MEL scripting. I assume you can attach scripts to the clicks as well?

I remember asking for something like this back in the 1.5 plug-in days (what I had in mind was much more basic). Anyway, looks amazing - you guys at pmg are moving right along. Ya know......pmg Animate in conjunction with 'Modo'.....sounds like they could help each other sell a lot of copies....

I alway's love PMG's videos. So far from what I've seen, and the little I've played with animate, they seem to be making some great choices with simple tools and interface. If it turns out to be a stable program it could be a real force.

really neato stuff. nothing that cant really be done place else, but their implementation kicks ass from the looks of it. since its built into the core, and you can even manipulate the interface. :D love it.

This is nice to see the pmg get some attentions fianally.
Didnt the Lifeforms have something a little bit like this thing?
