View Full Version : Electric Splash
PaulS2 08-13-2009, 06:50 PM Here's something I have just finished while learning a little more about SubD modeling...all done in Modo. Modo is a very creative tool...quite forgiving when it needs to be.

Thanks guys.
In regards to EI, I wouldn't even think of doing this there.....the amount of test renders needed would make it prohibitive. Not to mention it's only single core aware.
The inter-active preview in Modo is such a great feature. I wish every app I had did it so well.
Here's a different feel rendered in FryRender....set-up time in Fry was very fast. I think I could have spent more time refining things and optimizing the materials though.

Your work is very beautiful, I use modo's Fryrender plug-in files saved *. fry, and then Fryrender open, but not material, only a default material, which is why?

Thanks...I'm not familiar with the Modo pluggin - I use the Rhino version. Ask on the Fry forum and I'm sure you will receive an answer.
