I'm using Maya 7 and when I select the perspective camera and middle mouse scroll or (alt + middle mouse pressed down) the translate x and z and the center of interest goes from 0 to 100,000 or more with a very little mouse movement. Same thing happens when I click on any axis on the perspective/move tool on the top right corner. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix it?

Thanks,

You may have an object way out in your scene, try selecting an object and hitting F to frame it. But just creating a new perspective camera should work also.

I can't seem to find the object that is far outside the scene when I press f it shows nothing because of the 100,000 movement. When I create a new perspective is there a way to have the perspective/move tool appear on the top right corner?
