Hope I'm wrong and it becomes a hit...but impression I got from that trailer was "straight-to-video" quality particularly char designs and animation.

TMNT was awesome. I can't wait for this one. Unfortunately, I fear for it's chances in the american box office.

This just isn't Astro Boy to me. Decent otherwise, but not Astro Boy.

I agree, it looks fun, but, apparently misses the drama of the original. Seems like a low risk type of treatment
