Hi there! I am super new to Maya, being a former Lightwave artist, this is something very new and interesting!
But, I got some question for you all! First, is it possible to store FG information (cache) so the computer doesn't have to recalculate rays for every frame? I am making some virtual environments and I was thinking it could be a good way for rendering fast, although it won't work with animated lights.
The next question. I have been experimented with HDRI lighting in Maya a bit. But, I can't get it to work:(. The problem I think is the sphere surrounding my scene that holds the HDRI texture. When I try to render, MT just sass it transforming a frame and nothing happens. But when I delete the sphere MT is rendering fine, but not with HDRI:(
any workarounds?
