Hi there,
I'm currently working on some ingame assets etc for my portfolio. So I came up with a character I did a few weeks ago and modeled a lowpoly version which I detailed and textured in ZBrush... and here it comes:
Unwraped it in 3ds max 9, exported to OBJ, Import to ZBrush, detailed, rendered the normalmap and all of a sudden there appeared this pretty ugly glitch when I applied the material on the lowpoly mesh.

here is what it should look like...

The horns still need to be textured, I know ;D.

Hope anyone has an idea what's wrong... the UV and texture itself look fine.

Cheers

Make sure the vertices of that triangle are not "loose" and are welded to the triangles next to them.

See if maybe the normal for that triangle got flipped. Flip it and see what happens.

Those are the 2 things that I can think of off the top of my head that may be giving you such a headache.

damn... you were right. I thought I welded everything before exporting...
Now my UVs are gone... is there anyway to bring them back, or do I have to do it all over again? (the unwrapping)

cheers
