I guess I was able to cram the whole problem into the title! I've just started using MoitionBuilder2009/64bit on a Vista64 system and while it normally plays back fine, when I leave to mouse over an icon long enough for the mouseover text to pop up (where it says what the key does), playback freezes.

I've used MB 7.5 and 2009 32 bit on XP and XP64 systems and never seen this problem before. My first inclination is to blame Vista but I'm guessing it's a graphics card driver issue. Has anyone else encountered this or have any suggested solutions? At least one other person I know is experiencing the same thing with this setup.

I noticed another thread on viewport lag in Vista (I'm not getting this) and it suggested to turn off UAC in Vista. I checked and it wasn't enabled so that doesn't seem to be the problem.

I would say that this is one of the most anoying problems I've seen in MB.
I can't describe how anoying this is...

If anyone finds a solution please please help with this because I started cursing again because of this...one can not animate normally with this stupid awful bug and MB is supposed to be an animation package.

This problem is bugging me for so long now that I'm thinking about uninstalling MB and never install it again...it's like playing a scratched cd, instead of being focused on the animation I constantly have to focus on the position of my mouse pointer...
animation starts, focus is 100%...and then it freezes...argh
I want to scrub the timeline and that %^$# mouse over pops up and freezes the viewport, like we need that mouseover at all....what is it for...

message for Autodesk programers...please please please put that thing out of the time line at least, most of your users are pro's, not dummies who need a mouseover to tell them what tool they are using or which nodes have a key...

I would write till tommorow for this issue to be solved
