Hi,
My sketch today for a lack of better imagination is just a bride painted in a familly friendly way. At the end I started to wonder if it ended up looking like cheep clip art:).
Anyway here it is painted in about an hour using PS.

by the word bride i'm somehow thinking about killbill. so i drew this one yesterday with copic-multiliner, but it's just a girl with a sword.. -not much of a bride.

so i drew this today, probably a little too quick. pencil and painter:

Okzorg, I love your brush strokes.

And Arnes, I had a similar idea. I started out listening to "Bang Bang" by Nancy Sinatra and switched to house music for some reason and ended up doing something different.

Nice everyone , these look fantastic!!

Here is mine, she is quite a different bride. I used reference photo from original film and tried to make mine much more creepy. I think I made take this to a full polish but for now it is a sketch, 60 min!

TerminalFears, thanks, I'm glad you like it :)

------------------

ejuliot - very nice cropping, it really brings focus to the bride.

juansilva - I like the creativity involved in the wedding dress. Nice job!

Wexter - great use of blues to create a dreamy somber mood.

dejajade - for being the bride of the monster, she's pretty cute :) Cool textures in the background too.

ArneSReismueller - Sweet! I'm biased towards the Lucy Lou vesion on top. Very strong graphic appeal to it. Great work.

mecos - first time I scrolled down this page, I totally missed the ball and chain. The second time it caught my eye...LOL....very funny and clever concept.

Okzorg - Very nice rendering. Eloquent and thoughtful.

pauscorpi - I enjoy the fantasy take on the "bride".

TerminalFears - Very cool...I think there's some Freudian symbolism happening there. :)

stridiggio - I like the sentimental and classical feel to your piece.
