So, turns out almost the entire team of volunteer Team Leaders is sick... as well as some of the Student Volunteers...

My question is, how many of you regular attendees went home with a really bad illness?

For us, it started the day we all left (saturday) and many of us are still in bed for it now.

Symptoms include:

vomiting
sore throat
cough
congestion
itchy irritated eyes
nausea
fever
chills
sweating
fatigue
dizziness


Just curious if this is something that was passed around amongst the volunteers or if a lot of people leaving NOLA fell victim...

either way, wish you all a speedy recovery!

I know 6 people who got sick while being at Siggraph,one of them being my self. The cold lasted for about 3-4 days.

You need to ingest more alcohol to kill the bugs. All my friends and people I met seemed fine after SIGGRAPH (besides the general tiredness).

Maybe something got passed around that cramped SV room on Friday on the second level?
