I have been working on it for the last few days, messing around with color schemes etc. Btw there IS going to be a huge dragon behind her at some point, i'm still trying to figure out how to draw a nice one. :) All crits and comments are more than welcome. Updates will be coming as soon as possible.

I advise correcting your anatomy...

Which part of the anatomy needs correction?

I'd recommend you rough out the entire composition beforehand to settle on the anatomy/posture and dragon posture/design before you start a tight final painting like this.

As for figure rendering in general, I'd recommend checking out these pdfs over at Alberto's Process Junkie post (http://processjunkie.blogspot.com/2007/09/best-figure-drawing-books-ever.html). And the Bridgeman ones at the bottom are phenomenal for musculature when combined with life/photo study.

The Figure (http://www.amazon.com/Figure-Classic-Approach-Drawing-Construction/dp/0891340971/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1250550373&sr=8-14)is one I got as a gift when I was a kid and it helped me immensely, but its not free like the PDFs. The Loomis ones cover the same things, but a bit less realistic than The Figure. So you end up starting off stylized instead of stylizing reality. YMMV.

Thanks man, i'll begin reading.

What sucks is that my hard drive got messed up and i had to reinstall windows. So i lost my psd Dragon Girl file and the jpg is kind of fuzzy. I am not so sure i'll be continuing this wip. I will be following your advice on the next one though.

Thanks again Asataylor images/icons/icon7.gif

You're more than welcome! And just look at the loss as a chance to practice, practice, practice! :)

PS - I didn't mention it before, but I liked the muted red and green with the grayscale. Reminds me of old Bisley/Corben work.
