Looks great, although lighting in the top image doesn't seem to match with the green background. A highly successful test though, looks real!

Absolutely amazing !
But I find the ears very small, shouldn't they be bigger than that ?

Your lil animation there... the lion seems to be to stiff.... you should watch Ice Age get an idea how a lion would walk.. its stomac area should sway a tad... anyway good work overall.. really like it....

Really awesome work, Harley...I love the fur, but I also love the model!
I'm having a problem saving that walk-cycle animation to my hard drive. I would like to keep it and study what you've done there when I get a chance. Is there any way that you could e-mail that to me? And perhaps do you have a larger copy? Maybe a quicktime or .avi file that I could download from an ftp? Anyhow, if all you have is that .gif, would you mind sending it to me at semantiks@hotmail.com ? I would be very greatful.
Keep it going, my friend...

first: very cool, looks great
second: the eye brows look much worse than the rest of the image.
third: are you sure lions walk like that? It looks like camel walk -> both left side legs move at the same time and vice versa. i am pretty sure that a feline walk is more asymmetric.

The fur looks so alive!...can you show us your Maya fur settings?...if possible.
Thanks,

sorry, the setting is too much!
But we make more than 10 textures to control defferent attributes, like lenght, color, ambient color, density and so on!
hope this will help

I think it needs higher spec/ref on the nose and in corners of eyes. Other than that, wow.

I agree with seb4d that the ears look a little off.
From looking at the shaded model, I would say that the problem isn't the size of the ears, but the lack of dark shadow inside the ear in the "furred" image.
Otherwise beautiful job.
the eyes are to black(i think)
