Hi everyone,

Here is a link to a animation I saw and I was wondering how to achieve the same kind of result. I've been trying different solutions but none of them gave me a good result!

I've tried particle flow and parray from 3dsmax with displace forces and others..

I aslo tried playing around with after effect but didn't get anything!

What i'm willing to have is a shape of a car (like in the video) exploding in triangles and have the same triangles that come back to create another shape!

Hope you guys understood what I trying to mean...

Thanks for your help,

Titol

From what i can see it's a 2d image thats being 'exploded' and then with some smart editing turned in to a different car.
Wouldn't suprise me if this was done in for example After Effects.

When you go through it frame by frame i can't see any real 3d geometry and see some weird triangles, same door pops up several times for example.

To get something similar you could try putting a displacement modifier on your object and put a noise map in the Image map. Put it the strength to some ridiculous figure and play around with it.

thanx for your reply! Well personnally I think its a mix between the two. At some point in the video you can clearly see bits of the cars flying around like particles. I'm not saying it has to be done in 3d software but I don't think its only just some random noise displacement on a 2d still image...

I'll keep on looking and thanx again for you help!
