View Full Version : Bouncing Ball Study
I have animated before, but I feel like I know nothing, and so I decided to go back to the basics. I did a bouncing ball and spent many hours trying to make it as nice as possible. I used the hypergraph for the first time and I was amazed at the amount of control and ease of use, I shall never return to sloppy animating again!
Please let me know what you think and if anything could be changed for fixed for the better.

If you could post tests like that in a scrubbable format (Quicktime is really the only choice) it would be easier to diagnose.
I'd be happy to do that, but I'm not sure how... Could you tell me?

well, render to quicktime and choose a codec that yields small results and is easy to scrub like "Photo-JPG" or MPG4. Your app should give you choices. If it doesn't, you're looking in the wrong place.
A clip like your bouncing ball ought to be only a meg or so in size.
Quicktime and its codecs are extensively documented on the web. Give that a search.
As far as posting it, almost every ISP gives you some web space for files. Check your docs.
If not, there are free hosting places like mediafire.com
