Deformations look good. I like this rig.

Is this a production character or for your personal project? Really love the character. Possible to see wire?

Very very nice man! Your stuff is looking very solid! Show off a bit of what's happening under the hood, would be interesting for many people to have a look at what you are doing.

I am glad you like it and thanks for watching.
I've created this character for my personal work not for production.

Very nice work. I like the way that you have put that all together. Great pose capture tool as well.

nice toplogy in the mesh , remind me the appproach pixar use, this alow for nice compression and expansion.

that for posting the internal bones in work , how the extreme "o" and "u" pose work , i fin it the most dificult ones to achieve wth this kinf od system.

as pen said nice script ui and nice pose system.

We're starting some research for building our own bone-based facial system here in the studio, and all references are welcome :)

By the way, I've downloaded both videos from 4shared, and they seem to be corrupt. Would it be possible that you upload them to Vimeo or something, that offers more quality?

Thanks!

Iker this forum is full of references. :)

if you guys move to xsi have a look on facerobot will be part of the softimage 2010 (no more xsi :))

i got the same corrupt thing but if you see them with windows palyer are ok , and you cant use media player too.

I'll check the videos, Luis. My players refuse to play the videos, but I'll make working! :) We've improved our morph-based system, but there's some lack of 'interpolation ranges', so the change from one pose to another always behaves in the same way.

And thanks about the advice: I've been playing with FaceRobot last week and seems very powerful, but I guess it's too heavy and not too transparent*. Gotta continue doing some research...

* you know, we riggers want to have everything under strict control ;)

Thanks paul.I always take ideas from someone who is the best like you.

luis,i am glad you like my model too.
I always use script controller instead wire parameters because wire parameters limit you in one controller(one object) and i used it for create "o" and ...too.
This rig is resizable too but i think i must change it as well for another face, because it depends on face topology.
My pose capture tool work as a plugin and work with every kind of objects that you pick.

iker, sorry for bad quality.i think you can see my reel by use this codec:"klcodec480f",thanks.

guys:
Unfortunately my website is still work in progress,
I'll put my website link here when complete and you can see my resume and my works completely with more quality,i hope you enjoy.
I am looking for a job too!

hey,
really nice facial setup !!

how did you layer the GUI and the 'free-form' controls ?
list controllers and wire or script controllers ?

one thing i must say: would be cool if you add a stretch/squash global control
=)

cheers

ps
can you please post another downloadable link ? i canīt grab from 4Shared =(

Nicely done. I like the way you have integrated the GUI with the facial deformation controllers. Also, the topology of model looks preety good...

Penato,Suchan thanks for posting, and i'm happy you like it.

Penato:
for connections between ui and free-form controls i used list controller and script controller.

and thanks for noticing:my character has a global st/sq control(works by ffd) but i forgot to show it.

Sorry for my bad English

Wow, incredible rig!

Can you elaborate a little more on how you use script controllers in place of wire parameters? I'm trying to learn script controllers right now but its all so confusing. Can you show any examples?

Again, amazing stuff! Great job!

I don't think you'll have any problems getting a job with this

Hey, Navid, congrats on the good job. You have some awesome stuff there! But in my humble opinion you should make the reel a little shorter: six minutes could be a lot for a reel. I noticed that some concepts are repeated a couple of times and that time could be saved for shortening the video, because what you are trying to show looks quite clear after the first seconds of showing it (for example, fingers control).

Also it would be nice to label the video with a more descriptive name ;)
