View Full Version : how to create dust coming from ground and wiping

Hey
I have a box falling down and hitting the ground, I want to simulate a dusty ground and I want some dust coming out of it when my box hits the ground and dust wipes out.
how can I achieve this kind of effect?

Could look into fumeFX. Or I think there was an old tut by Allan Mckay for what you want. Ill try find it.

you could also look into real footage. videocopilot just put out a dvd with alot of the exact type of footage your looking for. its only like 99 bucks i think for the 720p version.

Thank guys,I checked some of Allan Mckay tuts but there is dozens of them and I don't know which one suits me. videocopilot's stuff looks good. I think I have to learn some basic AE.
