first of all , ,the actual result is great so far , but i think there is small minor thing to change :

at the first scene , the head should form from the blob , i would suggest to use two mesh : one blob and one head , and animate it to make the head coming out from the blob

second scene , the character is too static, its just raising up , also add several mesh and animate them give the feeling of mass being sculpt
