Hi, im just working on a personal project and I seem to be stuck on the animation process, I have rigged the car to my needs, but cannot seem to make it look real as of now i'm only using the auto key feature with 3ds Max 5 because i dont know any of the other ways of creating an animation. I am just looking to make the car burnout, then start, and drift abit, ive got the brunout part done but I am stuck on the moving of the car, I once saw some script thing that made it so when the car's main dummy is moved the wheel dummies rotated to spin the wheels. I really need help ASAP thank you.

PS. I have Searched and tried the Vehicle rigging discussion and found that I couldn't apply it to what i'm looking to achieve.

You'll need to get off the autokey and into editing your f-curves. The small details will make it look realistic. Maybe try to get a hold of some drag strip or street race footage to see cars burning out. You'll want to add the small shimmies and shakes that occur along with the suspension being driven down in the back and up in the front. I guess this will also change depending on the car you aree animating. Maybe a little side roll in the suspension when the car gets a little sideways.

Of course all of this changes depending on your camera angle.
