View Full Version : animate wireframe shader - help needed
dnovotny 08-02-2003, 05:49 PM I need some help, I am trying to create an animation where the wireframe draws the object on screen. I would like it to start with an outline, and then draw the form out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2 ways I can think of off the top of my head:
Render the wireframe, and using a post package like after effects, do an Alpha wipe to make the wireframe appear of over time.
Aption 2: Using awireframe shader like the one over at www.highend3d.com, do a layered shader, and animate the transperency of the wireframe shader to have it gradually revealed over time.

Try 'wireData' and 'nurbsData' Plug-Ins. You will be able to
texture / animate their attributes as well.
