Does maya have a free plugin or any way within the program to play 2 movies at once for sync on live action and animation?

I know max has the ram player which is great but im using a quicktime format live video that I have to keep switching to in order to view and make changes in my animation..

this is something im gonna be using quite a bit as ive just got a nice digital camera that takes 30sec clips in quicktime format ill be looking for a way to maybe take an avi and the camera output and be able to view them side by side.

i'd rather do it for free but im open to hear any other options..

dammit, cant you post some simpler questions!
like...wheres the render button (more than happy to help there)

;)

if you want to view the movie inside of maya i might suggest converting them to low rez seq of images and assigning them to a material. Or if you just want to view them side by side not in maya, maybe adobe premiere?

just suggestions.

convert it to an image sequence and you can import as an image plane, make make an image plane for your front view and import and the timing will be exact, thats how you do rotoscoping with maya, but, make it can help you?
