Secret Agent Entry: Tom Roseski

Here's my first stab at this challenge. As usual it's very last minute, but I didn't think I would have a chance to work on anything for this challenge. But I have a couple of days, so I figured I would take a shot at putting something together. So here's my first WIP. I'm sure I'll end up reworking it and it will look different tomorrow.

Due to my lack of time, I started with a model I worked on with a co-worker a few months back. I felt it would make a good environment for the image. I added a few things and started from there. I'm thinking of this as more of a lighting and texturing challenge for me since I have such little time.

So the idea behind this image is James Bond. When I think secret agent, it's the first image I get. I remember the teaser poster for Quantum of Solace where it was just Bond's shadow holding the rifle and I always liked that image. So I wanted to do something with that image in mind. Obviously had to include the Aston Martin since it's one of my favorite cars. Again still have a fair amount of work I need to do to the image. I need to adjust the lighting, adjust the mats on the car, add some more mood to the overall image etc. But here's my start. Any comments and crits are always appreciated.

Here's my final image for the Secret Agent contest. Since I entered this late, I really didn't have time to get too complicated. I wanted to see what I could come up with in the couple of days I had to work on it. I'm happy with the result. I wanted to create a sense of mood and give the image a different feel than what I normally do.

On a side note. This was a great idea for a contest. There is some amazing work being done and I look forward to seeing the winners.
