Whats a good way to skin fingers?
so when it bend has good looking deformations?

I was thinking maybe corrective blendshapes?

1. Make sure your finger topology is sufficient: there should be enough edges to define each digit of each finger, at least 3 edges in between digits. As a rule of thumb, the mass of each digit should be maintained when fingers curl.

2. Before skinning finger joints (or any joints for that matter), make sure the rotate pivot points of all joints are correctly oriented: facing down the child joints and rotating in a consistent manner (not rotating in opposite directions when you select all your digit joints).

3. After using smooth skinning on your model, either fix the weighting using the component editor or the paint weights tool.

Use corrective blendshapes only as a last resort.
